Alaya Tulum is an eco-conscious, beach hotel in Tulum, Mexico. Their products are biodegradable and the A/C is turned off during the day. The rooms have large windows which allow for a cross-breeze. Yoga classes are offered on a donation basis. My room had a partial view of the beach and I enjoyed breakfast each morning on the balcony. The hotel is a short walk to a few shops, restaurants, bars and hotels. Downtown Tulum is a 10-minute drive.
