NoMad Cookbook Reception to Benefit the Chicago Humanities Festival

An inspiring evening hosted by Nick and Dagmara Kokonas with 100% of the evening’s proceeds going directly towards the Chicago Humanities Festival.

The Krug and caviar reception was followed by a lively discussion featuring Daniel Humm and Will Guidara of Eleven Madison Park, NoMad Restaurant and NoMad Bar, covering topics and answering questions on the evolution of their careers, inspiration, challenges and future goals. The evening concluded with personalized book signings of their NoMad cookbook.

At the end of the evening, I asked Daniel Humm which chefs he found to be the most influential and he said Micael Bras and Bernard Pacaud. He also suggested going to l’Ambrosie soon.

I know he and Will Guidara like Miles Davis and the other jazz greats but I wanted to know what Daniel listened to the most on his iPod or [insert music device here]. He said without pause, “The Rolling Stones.”
