My kids and I went to Bavette’s Bar & Boeuf during the soft opening and from that first visit, it felt like a place we could eat many times over and we have. While it’s difficult to get prime time seating, if you are willing to eat when they open or at least an hour before they close, you will have better luck finding a reservation.
One special and fun thing about Bavette’s (and other Hogsalt restaurants) is if you bring a bottle of wine, the corkage fee is waived if you give the first pour to any random person also dining at the restaurant. One bottle per two people limit.
