Nuala serves wood-fired, modern British food with an Irish twist. Think beef tartare with stout beer sauce or crab toast tucked under a lardo veil.
Nuala’s downstairs bar serves the expected Irish stouts and whiskeys, but also classic and regional wines, and whiskey-based punches and cocktails. But we were there for lunch, and our mission was to try as many dishes possible.
You know those horned cows with the long, brown bangs?
Those are the Scottish Highland cattle breed and Nuala’s beef is sourced exclusively from Torloisk Highland farm of Isle of Mull, Scotland. The seafood comes from the southwestern waters of Cornwall.
Chefs: Niall Davidson, Colin McSherry
Tips: The bar features a live band, nightly.
