Quiote [closed] at Sportsman’s Club

Sportsman Club is a cash-only, neighborhood locals’ bar that is cocktail-driven but also offers select beers and wines. In the summer months, they host a weekly Backyard BBQ series with guest chefs in charge of the menu. Admission to enter is free and $20 includes one meal and one beverage. The patio fills up from the time they open so it’s best to arrive early at these timed events.

Quiote made the food for this particular summer holiday weekend bash. We had the choice of sausage or ribs, with a side of elote and slaw. The best surprise was the debut release of their house-made paletas. The flavors will vary and are available at Quiote, even after summer has come to an end.
