Mayan Ruins of Tulum

The Mayan Ruins in Tulum were built in the 13th century as a seaport where turquoise and jade were traded. What makes the Tulum Ruins unique, is they are the only ruins located on water. There is a staircase where you can walk down, but the winds were too high, so we weren’t able to walk down. If you want to beat the crowds, you can pay extra to enter the gates early.
