Mace | Pouring Ribbons | Otto’s Tiki Lounge | My First Psychic Reading

These are a few of the bars we went to in New York, including a great video clip at a tiki bar of an Elvis cover, my first psychic reading and what followed. Read the captions to follow the story. I love seeing the different themes, menus and checking out the different vibes. The best part was not reading reviews or knowing too much about any of these places and just walking in randomly with an open mind. I also realized as I was putting these photos together that we arrived in New York by lunchtime, left our bags with the front desk and didn’t return to the hotel until past midnight.

My first visit to a psychic

Some of the things the psychic told me:

  • You have never wanted to live in your house and you want to move to CA
  • You have a very strong purpose but have not even begun to do anything about fulfilling it
  • Something very bad happened to you 5 years ago
  • You have 3 kids, middle is your challenger.

The last thing she said to me: “You’ll be back.”

Sure enough, I lost my license so we had to retrace our steps at a few places and guess what? I was back because my license was at the bar right next door to the psychic.
